992 WHAT I DO: Over the past five years, I've focused my CPA firm toward marketing agencies and other creative professionals. I saw a need in the marketing industry to combine the world of left-brain financial analytics with the world of right-brain creativity. Marketing agencies and other creative professionals share the same struggles as many business owners in the service industry: managing time between projects, communicating value to clients and suffering cash flow bottlenecks. Unfortunately, accounting is often placed on the back burner with other administrative tasks — which can quickly cause problems. WHY IT WORKS: I've spent my entire career designing and implementing efficient financial processes - from third party software implementation to actually writing code. I know that efficient, standardized accounting processes provide more organized and more timely data to inform operational decisions. I also know that combining financial and non-financial data can provide unimaginable business insights. WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: According to the AICPA, only about 60% of CPAs currently have any interaction with the cloud. My practice has been helping clients leverage the cloud since 2012 because it's the only way your business can connect different data sources and have 24/7 access to data.
