San Francisco's not known as an architecture city, but thanks to one of the most radical urban planning projects in the country, that reputation is about to change. This walk takes you into the city's hidden public spaces and forgotten treasures to show you why today's San Francisco looks and feels like nowhere else, and ends with a sneak peek at the massive developments that will make tomorrow's San Francisco even more unique.

Tips & Hours

• This Detour can be taken any day of the week. It's best during the hours of 9am - 6:00pm when the buildings are generally all open.
• The Citicorp POPO is open Monday-Friday, 10am - 5pm.
• If you run into a building or space that is closed, don't worry. Rick will show you pictures on your phone.
• This Detour is not strenuous, but it does go up some short flights of stairs.
