In this episode I had the honor to speak with my colleague and fellow residency program director Dr Bill Ryals DDS MS. Dr Ryals is a board certified Periodontist & AEGD Residency Program Director at the VA Hospital in Birmingham AL. He completed his 3-year advanced specialty residency training at Fairleigh Dickinson College of Dental Medicine.
Prior to being a program director, Dr Ryals maintained a private practice in northern virginia for 25 years.
Dr Ryals shares his perspective of over 33 years of dentistry in periodontics, what he would do differently if he were starting over, and noteworthy tips and advice for predents, dental students, residents, and new dentists exploring various careers and pathways in dentistry. These are tips that are important to professional and personal success.
