Sergiu is a 23 year old footballer originally from Toronto, Canada but he has had quite the journey. After getting cut from Toronto FC at 16 years old, he derived to make a move to Portugual and try his luck in Europe. He played his youth football at Benfica with the likes of Renato Sanches, Ruben Dias, etc. he was then offered a contract in the 3rd league of Portugual, but decided not to take it for a couple of reasons.
