John Sanchez develops and delivers training and coaching programs, and he is known as the “Recovering Accountant”. He’s not in a 12-step program, but years ago his communication skills needed some serious rehab and he didn’t even know it. Back when he was working at AutoNation in a finance role, a co-worker shared a not-so-secret fact with him and that was that they thought he was a jerk because of how he communicated with them, and they weren’t the only ones.
