We hear from Pastor Beverly as she finishes her series on Psalms and Proverbs. This morning she preaches from Luke 10:25–37 in a sermon titled "Doing Love." This is a parable—The Good Samaritan. The expert in the law asks a testing/debating question of Jesus about what is required in order to inherit eternal life. Jesus teaches and expands the understanding of the expert in the law about how to inherit eternal life – by loving God and neighbor.
