In this episode, we talk with Karl Barkley about basketball in China. Karl was the Co-Director of PSB China and lived in Chengdu, China full-time coaching youth basketball and running PSB there.
Karl grew up in Charlotte, NC and played DIII college basketball at Swarthmore College, where he began learning Chinese as a language. In this episode, Karl and Brendan discuss the basketball culture in China, the differences between youth basketball over there and the US, the Chinese Basketball Association, the NBA's involvement in basketball in China, and also PSB's upcoming China Basketball & Cultural Tour with some PSB players and family members.
