(REPLAY from 1/20/22) In this episode, we discuss the current culture of sports praises individual achievements and the flashy plays that get a ton of views on social media.
The major problem is that these things are short-lived. We live in a world of viral social media sensations that come and go in a day. One day a player plays great and has all the social media highlights and the world loves them. The next day they play bad and that love is no longer there.
This is why we are on the mission to redefine this standard of success in youth sports. We believe success should be looked at more holistically and with more long-term benefits and rewards.
