I had the honor to chat with Jena Ochsner about life in Nebraska, juggling farm life and an "off the farm" career, and growing their own family and farm!
More on Jena:
Hey, y’all! I’m Jena and I farm with my husband on his family’s 5th generation family farm. We have two little farm boys and are proud to live on the original family homestead from 1885! We farm commercial corn and soybeans and raise black and red angus cattle. We have both a commercial herd and a finishing operation where we raise the cattle from birth to butcher then market our homegrown beef straight from our farm to families all across the country. We ship nationwide! I love all things farming, but also have an off the farm job as a labor and delivery nurse! It’s a good balance with farm life and a career that I love! We’re raising cows, crops, and country kids in small town Nebraska and are so happy to have you along for the journey!
