Our lives are full of decisions taking. Taking the right decision determine the outcome of a situation.
It is not only about the right decision. It also depends on the timing.
I will put it this way
Take the right decision at the appointed time.
As believers, we pray to our Father, asking him to lead us. For us to take the right decision at the right time
Romans 8:14 says For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
James 1:5 says 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
In exhibiting God`s wisdom is every situation, we do know that we are taking the right decision at the right time.
What if the decision that you are taken is not going to be an easy journey?
How do you deal with your flesh telling you to give up, knowing fully well God has told you to take that decision.
How do you deal with the fact that this decision is not pleasant to your flesh?
Do still go on and choose God`s way or your way?
Do you lean on your understanding? Or do you acknowledge God`s ways, knowing that He will direct your path.
I have found myself in this same situation
I asked God why me and why now?
I couldn`t understand anything that was going on
My heart sometimes was full of anxiety
I started asking myself, how can I go through with this?
Did God really say I should take this decision
Did I really hear his voice?
Doesn`t the verse in John 10:27 says 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Each time I was walking in the flesh regarding the decision, the inward
witness who is the Holy Spirit gave me the assurance that it is well.
Each time I found myself crying and asking questions out of my emotions, my heavenly Father comforted me and said it is well.
One morning as I was praying, the Holy Spirit led me to Psalms 23:2b: He leads me beside quit waters.
What does this means?
Sheep are scared of moving water because the fleece would sock up water like a sponge, and the weight would cause it to drown
So, a good shepherd will dam up a river and make a place where the water is still so that the sheep can drink.
Still means restful
I saw in that verse that God brings His peace even in the midst of the most turbulent times.
Just because you took the right decision at the right time doesn`t mean that things will go well.
Even though this journey is not easy, I choose God`s way
