You have a heart like Christ
Your heart is made from his Spirit
For you are called to live like Christ
But what does it really mean to live like him?
What did he faced while living on this earth
He was betrayed
His friends disappointed him
He suffered
He was abandoned
You named it all
Now that you are faced with one of the them above, you feel like dying
Asking yourself what is Life all about
But, are we not called to be Christ Like?
What did he do, when faced with disappointment or betrayer or being abandoned.
He showed compassion
That’s what we should also do
The apostle Luke writes Be compassionate just as your Father is compassionate
He showed Love
Col: 313 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
He forgave them
Eph 5:2 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
That is how we should live this life which He has given us
Don’t forget you have Christ-like heart
You and Him are one in the Spirit
And what ever you have faced or facing, he has faced worse
He is our forerunner
He has gone before us, for us to find delight in this life.
Stop crying, stop wallowing in your tears, trying to find the reason for everything that has happened or will happed
Believers, You have Zoe
You have Zoe
You have the Life of Christ
You have the heart of Christ
Ezek: 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
God’s life is your Life
How did Jesus react in the place of obstacles
He rested, he slept
Mark 4:38: Jesus was inside the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow.
He slept because he knew who his identity and the power which lies within him.
Believers, we should also rest in the place of obstacles, knowing that our Father is Jireh
The providential God
God knows all the need that you have.
How did Jesus react in the place of sorrow
He cried to His Father, our Father
Luke:22:42: Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
We also should cry to our Father in the place of sorrow, for God’s will to be done in our lives.
The heart of Christ is pure
The heart of Christ is Peaceful
You have his Peace within you because we have his Heart
2 Thes 3:16 16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
The heart of Christ is Spiritual
Our heart is also Spiritual
We bear the fruits of the Spirit.
A Christ like Heart
We are Christ Like, we have the heart of Christ.
We react the same way he reacted
We talk the same way he talked
We forgive the same way he forgave
We rejoice the same way he rejoiced
We show compassion the same way he showed compassion
We Love the same way he Loved
Because we have Zoe
We have Zoe
The life of Christ, the Heart of Christ
Your life is led by the Heart of Christ
