In the world like this where everyone thinks they are
right. Giving their opinion to everything.
In every situation where good or bad, people are tune to give their opinion
Let me air out God’s thoughts
We the concept of social media, everyone has something to say at any giving
time. It doesn`t matter what the topic is
People seek advice from social media, relationship, marital ect.
Do we know what that really means, for everyone to give their own opinion on a matter?
To talk as they desire?
This can only lead to confusion?
What is right? What is wrong?
Which opinion should I take?
As believers, how should we act in a world like this?
How do we overcome the world of many opinion?
Romans :12:2 gives us the answer
We have been called not to fashion ourselves according to this world.
Not to allow the things of the world to teach us.
By us accepting the Gospel, we have been adopted into God´s family
We cannot maintain the general outlook on life
We cannot accept any kind of truth or opinion, expect the word of God.
Our worldview has changed, our opinion has drowned into His opinion
We are no more ones that can freely think as we want,
We express His already given thoughts in scriptures
The man in Christ loses His identity in Christ
Instead, we have been called to
Transformed, to changed, to renew our mind.
The renewal of our mind comes by saturating our mind with the word of God.
By spending time in the place of prayer and fellowship.
By doing so,you give the Spirit room to transform you into the culture of
Christ, and to lead you per time.
You allow the transformative power of God`s word to change you inwardly.
2 Cor 3:18 put it this way 18 And all of us, as with
unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a
mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very
own image in ever increasing splendor and from one
degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
As you change inwardly, you become
rooted in the word of God.
You know what the truth is and you stick to God`s word, no matter what the
world tells you. For the opinion of men will change, but the word of God stays as it is.
The word of God is our absolute truth
The Word of God is our only truth
Then Jesus said in John 14:6 6 Jesus answered, “I am the
way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me.
Jesus is the truth which is the word of word
We see this in John 1:1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word
([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God [b]Himself.
The word of God is our fact which cannot be changed
Isaiah said The [a]grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will
stand forever. Build up your Spirit man like never before
You need that spiritual stamina to stand against the things of this worldIn 1 John 4:13 says 13 By
this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live
and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His
[Holy] Spirit. The Spirit of God in us makes the different in our life
We are more than able to grow in the things of God because we have the Spirit
of God. We are more than able to live according to the word of God because we have the
Spirit of God. We are more than able to keep God`s truth in our hearts because we have the
Spirit of God. When the world says things which are contrary to the word of God, we stick to
the word of God. Our truth doesn`t change because the world is changing
We don`t rely on the opinion of men rather what does the word of God says about
this situation? In every situation we rightly divide the word of truth.
Don`t neglect your salvation. Don't try to modernize your faith
Be the living word as Jesus is. Jesus stuck to the truth even in difficult situation
He never allowed himself to be influence by his environment or surrounding
