Scripture says „Put your mind on things above“but what does that mean?
How can we achieve a state of mind that is focused on Christ?
How can we dwell and rest in his presence, silencing out worldly noise?
You and I need to put on Christ.
Literally. Our walk with him cannot be an outward expression, it must be a sincere inner lifestyle that would then have an outward expression

Try to search within you for him in every circumstance. Look within your Spirit for his leading and follow him.
Let his righteousness flood your thinking and fortify your perspective on your identity.
Let it be the influence in every conversation you have.
Let your worldview be shaped by everything you read and learn about Christ.

Wearing something heavy makes it hard to put on something else. You first need to take off your own ways and behaviors through the help of His Spirit.
His words say we shouldn’t give any room to the devil. So don’t be carried away by anger and bitterness. Even if, it feels wrong or unfair.
His word also say we shouldn’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world

Don’t be used to spreading gossip or lies. But instead, transform your thinking and speak life over the saints!
As Paul says in Romans 12: 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
Let us edify one another the same way the holy Spirit edifies us.

Take off the heavy coat of selfishness and put on the garment of Christ. For His word says in Eph 4:24: and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
Let his light shine through you, always.
For God is light and you should walk as children of Light

Kindness and forgiveness are our daily bread for we walk in the fruit of the Spirit. With Christ as our role model, we imitate his ways and follow his steps through the help of His Spirit within us.
Our salvation brings joy to the heavens so let's work it out and give thanks while doing so.

Let us allow His Word transform our thinking and give him glory.
