In this episode, I celebrate Black Music month. I have a special guest, Eldrick, who is identified as a 90s Hip Hop Head, and we’re going to be discussing artists and songs in the 1990s that best represents vital moments in history and Black history. We focus on the intersectionality of hip hop and fatherhood, relationships, and politics. Then, we discuss some conscious rappers and a few eras of 90 Hip Hop.
The Dr. Alisha Podcast features Dr. Alisha Rorer, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Atlanta, GA, engaging in conversations about life, love, and relationships that will inspire, enlighten, and help you connect to yourself and others. "What's the lyrics" is my metaphoric approach to unpacking all the things in between the lines. Please note that this podcast should not be a replacement for therapy. For information about how to find a therapist, see the links in the description.
