Being an entrepreneur is not all rainbows and butterflies.

It takes serious grit and hustle.

From an Easy-Bake Oven to operating 3 kiosk locations across North Carolina, this week’s Work in Progress guest was able to scale her passion for baking into a long-term business.

At the age of 18, Alexandria Marrow ventured off to create her own business called Sweets by Alexandria.

Alexandria was a manager, head baker, social media manager, and salesperson all before attending college.

With the help of her family, Alexandria ran the business for 3 years prior to converting Sweets by Alexandria into a subscription model.

Now, Alexandria is a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

With any business, there are lessons and stories uncovered along the way.

In this episode, we talk about the blueprint of how Alexandria went from high school graduate to full-time entrepreneur.
