Johannes Schmitt
Johannes serves as Director of Banking and Payments for Kraken Digital Asset Exchange. In this role, he oversees global banking and payments strategy and operations. Johannes was employee number 10 at Kraken. In his 7+ years at Kraken, he has rotated throughout the company working in areas of content development, client services and account management. Prior to this role, Johannes completed a PhD in philosophy at the University of Southern California and was a lecturer and project coordinator at the University of Konstanz.
