Description

In John 8, Jesus makes His second “I AM” statement: I am the Light of the World. He says these words on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, and once again, uses an imperfect, insufficient earthly example of how He fulfills for eternity. But we also see His kindness and tenderness toward a woman caught in her sin. It’s a beautiful picture of how He responds to us as well.

And then again, we see the religious leaders debating with Jesus about who He really is. They kept missing it, and John continues to point us to the truth: Jesus is Messiah, sent from God, to save us all. Jesus is truth.
