A few decades after Jesus’ ascension, the Church had been growing worldwide, but believers were
starting to drift from the original doctrines of Jesus. Instead of focusing on the resurrection power of Christ, they
started focusing on all the peripheral issues of religion. So the preacher of Hebrews recognized what was
happening and reminded the global Church who Jesus really is, which stops the drift toward the world. In our
time, we also need to ANCHOR our life on the TRUE JESUS and who HE IS in order to stop from following the
