Meet Our ADHD Tribe: Jennifer, Moises, and their son, Benjamin.
Just over a year ago, Jennifer and her family picked up and moved from Chicago to Las Vegas. They did this to give their son, Benjamin, the best life possible. Benjamin was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 3 and in this episode, Jennifer gives us a raw glimpse into what it's like to have a child that faces numerous personal and social challenges.
Jennifer is on a mission to talk about her family's story because she believes that we, as a society, feel ashamed to talk about struggle in general, including struggles associated with any diagnosed disorder. Her message is one of perseverance as she continues to adjust to her family's "normal".
