Listeners, I am so excited to introduce our guest speaker Amy Baker. Amy is a “soloprenuer,” CIO (Chief Innovation Officer) of SPRY brands, and just received her Masters in Organizational Leadership! Having grown up in the Midwest, Amy attended Taylor in Indiana with her high school sweetheart and graduated with Taylor’s first Computer Graphics Art Degree Major. Amy has always rejoiced in having freedom and paving her own way, which manifested in her self-designed degree and has since been seen in her chosen profession. After graduation, Amy took a full time position with her college job and after realizing she needed to grow more she veered into Project Management and team leadership. Thereafter, she built a multi-million dollar brand at a consulting firm, navigated into independent consulting, to end in the creation of SPRY brands!
Amy Baker’s story is one of not being afraid to rock the boat or settle. It illustrates the story of a woman that grew into her self-awareness with the support of her “group of advisors” and found this ultimate ability to pivot. W
