I am so excited to introduce you to our guest speaker, Corey Nevels. At the age of just 25, Corey is traveling around the world as a marine scientist, dive master, and underwater photographer. Many wonder how a girl who grew up in a land locked state, ended up with a career in the middle of the ocean. The answer is, while at Ohio University, Corey chose to take an open water scuba diving class with little experience regarding the ocean. Little did she know this class would become her life’s passion. One of the most inspiring aspects to Corey’s story is her ability to trust her gut passion for a career that veered from the norm.
