Gary was college football coach for almost 40 years including being the Head Coach at Tennessee Tech, Florida, & Western Michigan. He also coached at Oklahoma St., Kansas St., SMU, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Texas, Texas A&M, and Nebraska. Currently he is the Associate Executive Director of the American Football Coaches Association.
