Description

Today, Rev. Wendy concludes the series, "Our Transcendental Roots," by sharing about "From Vision to Action." Her main points were that Emerson, Thoreau, Fuller, and Whitman were idealistic thinkers who believed in the power of individuals to drive social reform. They promoted individualism, self-reliance, civil disobedience, gender equality, and other progressive causes to create a more just society. Their writings and actions reflected their vision of a better world and their commitment to social change. They encouraged people to be an inspiration to others, stand up for their beliefs, and work together with a sense of community to bring about positive change.
