Just as a Roman soldier's shoes helped him gain traction in combat, our spiritual shoes of peace equip us to stand firm and hold our position as Victors. Christ has already won the war against Satan through His redemptive work on the cross and His miraculous resurrection. We just need to stand firm and not give that deceptive fiend an inch.
