Each spring, the top graduating McDonell seniors selectthe teachers they felt were the most influential in their time in the Mack’s community. We get to meet one of the three teachers who was nominated. Notre Dame Middle School social studies teacher Peter Thoma is joined by senior DavidAnderson, who chose him as his most influential educator.
Peter has taught in McDonell for 10 years and we findout what drew him to social studies.
David is the oldest of six children, all of whomattend the McDonell schools. He will be attending UW-La Crosse with an eye on a career in the medical field somewhere.
So why did David chose Peter and why did he resonatewith him?
