Delighted to speak to Elle L on all things kindness, UNESCO MGIEP and speaking to the next generation who will lead the charge for climate change. ELLE L is a music artist whose talents expand as a creative director, regenerative fashion ambassador and environmentalist. She is a newly appointed Kindness Advisor to the United Nations UNESCO MGIEP #KindnessMatters campaign and a confirmed speaker and performer for the UNESCO MGIEP 3rd World Youth Conference on Kindness on October 2nd 2021. As an artist, ELLE L draws inspiration from the world around her, and champions the environment through advising curating and moderating projects involving sustainability for UNEP and guest-writing for publications such as EcoAge. To add to her philanthropy, Elle has supported over £1.5m in fundraising for conservation through special projects over the past 18 months whilst writing her first album. As a director, she has aligned to direct visuals for Copenhagen Fashion Week. Elle has also produced content and created music for CNN International and worked on Emmy-nominated projects with BBC and IFC. Elle’s debut single ‘Circles’ was synched to a worldwide TV & Digital campaign for Lacoste with early support from major tastemakers BBC Introducing and Noisey. Her follow-up ‘Hoping’ is out now on all major streaming platforms via Tileyard and ADA. The track debuted to the support of major tastemakers such as Apple Music, who featured ’Hoping’ in New Music Daily, Pop Chill, New in Pop, Easy Hits (Fr), Best New Music (Shazam) and Mixtape for Mother Earth. Elle’s music has also received critical acclaim from Harper’s Bazaar, The Face, The Independent, Wonderland and Clash Magazine who best describe Elle as ‘Avant-Pop’. ‘Hoping’ received a synch to digital campaign ‘Hope for Earth Day’ with a non-profit conservation organisation Hoja Nueva. The campaign raised over $15k to re-wild endangered species in the lower Peruvian Amazon region of Madre De Dios. Elle creative directed a film for the project which received over 800k views and a social media campaign which received messages of support from Rita Ora, Arizona Muse, Roxy Horner, Olympian Louise Hazel and more.
