As our world places enhanced emphasis on the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion, hiring practices and processes have been areas of focus consistently under the microscope. As collegiate athletics seeks to become a more inclusive enterprise, this session discusses key areas that departments and administrators should consider when leading or participating in various hiring exercises. Based on their experiences, the panelists  discuss several components including the recruitment of diverse candidate pools, internal and external communications, and collaboration across campus to ensure equity and inclusion remain a priority for the future of the industry.
