As our country continues to face social injustices, it’s important that we recognize the efforts to effect change are not the sole responsibility of the oppressed or marginalized populations which are directly impacted. Allyship is a crucial piece in our ability to successfully incite positive and lasting change. This session explores what it means to be an ally and provides insight into the ways that we can take action to better serve our colleagues and student-athletes in this type of role.
