Today, Sunday November 15 - 2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." We have been learning from James 1 that we need to look into the mirror of God's "Perfect Law". It not only shows us what is not right about us, it also begins to do something miraculous within us. Paul wrote to Timothy and told him that, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) When we read and take in the Word of God there is "transformation" in us. The word transformation in the Greek gives us our English word "metamorphosis" - a change on the outside that comes from the inside. When a ugly caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly, this is metamorphosis. When a believer spends time looking into the Word and seeing Christ, he is transformed: the glory on the inside is revealed on the outside. May the Lord help us today to experience this awesome "transformation"!!!!!! God bless!
