Today, Sunday September 13 - Jehovah-M'Kaddesh, The LORD Who sanctifies you! The Apostle Paul, in his first letter to the church at Corinth wrote, "To the church of God that is in Corinth to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who are in every place...." This church was one of the most carnal group of Christians in the New Testament, but Paul said they were sanctified. There are three areas of sanctification. First there is positional. The moment you trust Christ, you are placed into the body of Christ and God sees you in Christ without sin! Second there is progressive. "Called to be saints..." This is a daily process as we submit and surrender our wills to the will and plan of God! Then there is ultimate sanctification. This is when we see Jesus face to face in either death or the rapture. "And when we see Him, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." (1 John 3:2) God Bless!
