Today, Tuesday August 4 - Jehovah-Rapha is the LORD Who Heals! Isaiah 53:5 tells us: ".... and by His strips we are healed." When Moses and the people of Israel came to the water in the the wilderness three days after their deliverance from the armies of Pharaoh, they thought it would quench their thirst. But when they begin to drink, they found it to be so bitter they couldn't drink and they begin to grumble and complain. It is so often that we think certain things or people will meet the deep needs of our thirsty souls, but after a while, we experience the opposite of what we were looking for and expected! And if we are not careful and wise, we will become a bitter person who takes a very negative view toward life and God. Today, God has a cure for our bitter experiences in life. God's cure is Jehovah-Rapha HIimself. Go to the Cross where Jesus died for you! It's there you will find healing for you weary soul! God bless!
