Today, Thursday August 6 – Jehovah-Rapha – The LORD Who Heals. Hebrews 12:14-15 “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled…” God’s cure for the bitterness in my life is His Grace through His Son Jesus Christ. Bitterness is something that “springs up and causes trouble” and is the result of suffering from an offence. Usually this offence is from someone you loved, trusted and respected. That’s what makes it hurt so bad. But God will give you grace to forgive the offender as you have received His grace to obtain His forgiveness of your sins against Him.
