Today, Monday August 10 - Jehovah Rapha - The LORD Who Heals You! Today we will take one last look at this wonderful name of God that is revealed to us in Exodus 15. The people of Israel had just entered the wilderness to begin their journey to the Promise Land. Often, as we begin our spiritual pilgrimage to seek to enjoy the promises of God in our personal lives we find ourselves in the wilderness where we experience great pain and a sense of disappointment. But what we thought would bring us joy and satisfaction has brought just the opposite. God's answer for every broken heart and life in found in The Tree! The Cross of Jesus Christ. When Moses cut the tree down and threw it in the bitter water, it miraculously became sweet and the people could quench their thirst! We desperately need God's grace that comes from His Son's death on the Cross! "For the word of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God!" (I Corinthians 1:18) Today, come to the Cross of Christ and find Jehovah-Rapha!
