Today, Saturday August 29, Jehovah-Rohi, The LORD is my Shepherd! Its seems to me that, especially in today's world, that we are programmed from birth, to want everything we see for ourselves. And we won't be satisfied until we have what we want! Today, it's even worse than that! We often feel entitled to what we want, thinking that it is owed to us! What a sad state of mind and life to be in! The Apostle Paul claimed in Philippians 4 that he was content in whatever state he found himself in. He was content when he had plenty and he was content or satisfied when he had absolutely nothing! This is because he had personally meet and experience Jesus as Jehovah-Rohi and found everything he needed and wanted in this Great and Good Shepherd! May the Lord help all of us to do the same today! God bless!
