Today, Monday August 31, Jehovah-Rohi - The LORD is my Shepherd! Do you ever feel like no one cares for you? That's the way the Psalmist felt in Psalm 142:4 "Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul." Today, I want to assure you that Someone cares for you! God does and He reveals Himself in Psalm 23 as Jehovah-Rohi, the Shepherd that cares for His sheep. Psalm 23 could also be called the "He and me" Psalm. "He makes me..." He leads me..." He restores me..." He is with me..." "He prepares for me" "He anoints me..." He follows me..."! Today, I also want to encourage you to read Psalm 22, 23 and 24 together! In Psalm 22, He is the Good Shepherd, in Psalm 23, He is the Great Shepherd and in Psalm 24, He is the Chief Shepherd! In Psalm 22, He is the Savior who died for you. In Psalm 23, He is the Satisfier who loves and lives for you! And in Psalm 24, He is Sovereign who is coming back for you! Praise the LORD! God bless!
