Today, Thursday August 27, Jehovah-Shalom - The LORD is Peace! And today, He can be your peace. Remember first there must be peace with God that is made through the blood of the Cross of Jesus Christ. (Colossians 1:19) Then as we believe and and bring everything that is disturbing our peace to Jesus in prayer, we will find the Peace of God that "guards and keeps our hearts and mind in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7) And as we begin to live a life in obedience to His Word, we will experience the God of Peace in every circumstance in our lives! (Philippians 4:9) Jesus is Jehovah-Shalom! He is ready to give us His peace if we will only believe and trust Him. (John14:27) And this is a peace that you can never find in the world, or anywhere else.
