Moses felt like he has failed in life and God shows up at the burning bush as Jehovah, the Self-Existent One. David is depressed because close associates and family have turned against him and God shows up as Jehovah-Rohi, The LORD is my Shepherd! The three Hebrew children are thrown into a fiery furnace, and God shows up as the "Son of God" to protect them. Martha and Mary are grieved over the death of their brother Lazarus and Jesus Himself shows up as the Resurrection and the Life!
