Today, Thursday September 17 - Jehovah-Shammah, The LORD is there. We are told many times in scripture that "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom." What does it mean to fear the LORD? I believe that it means several things, but mainly it means to have a constant awareness of the presence of the LORD in your life! You don't have to pray and ask the LORD to be with you, He is already there with you! You should pray and ask the LORD to open your eyes and mind to His presence. But often sin clouds our sense of His presence and the name of Jehovah-Shammah should bring conviction of the Holy Spirit into our lives. Because Jehovah is there, He sees, hears and knows everything we do. Today, we need to confess our sins and enter into a personal relationship with Jesus by faith and receive His Holy Spirit to be a very real presence in our lives every moment of every day!
