Today, Wednesday September 30 - Who am I? Where am I from? Where am I going? What is life all about anyway?  These are questions we usually start asking sometime in our later teenage years.  And even as we get older, we need to remind ourselves again of the true answer to these questions!  I believe that God created us to worship and enjoy Him now and forever, and that is "the chief end of man."  In Romans 8:29, the Apostle Paul told the believers there, that the purpose of God for our lives was, "For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son....".  In other words, our goal and purpose as believers is to be a reflection of the Person, the attributes and character of Jesus Christ in the world, and to the world around us.  That's what it really means to be a Christian, to be Christ-like. Another word often used in the New Testament for this is godliness, to be godly!  May the Lord and His Holy Spirit help us today as we "press on toward" this goal that will bring "the prize" of great fulfilment and peace into our lives! (Philippians 3:14) God bless!
