When somebody says you look really fit or compliments you in some way and you make that mean something positive about you, even though it feels good, then what has to be true in our minds is the counter to that…that if I don’t look fit or pretty or whatever, then it’s bad and negative. So what we have to do is get rid of BOTH. Or at least try to minimize the impact of both.
