- Swansea based rock band Bandicoot released their single Dark Too Long in February
- Gruff Rhys' latest album Seeking New Gods releases 21 May
- Afrofunky hip hop Cardiff 8-piece Afro Cluster released their first album The Reach in February
- Manchester electronic duo Narcissus submitted their new single Cuttin’ Thru Red Tape, recorded with singer Becki Fishwick

- Canadian alt-folk Sup Pop signee Chad VanGaallen released his album album World’s Most Stressed Out Gardener this week
