I am thrilled to bring you this interview with Diana, who is in the beginning stages of what I hope is a major problem solver for families who have kids with learning challenges in the near future. She brings her tech-savvy knowledge, strong entrepreneurial and business sense, AND her personal experience as an individual with dyslexia to this platform and anyone who knows anything about me and my passions, knows that this is near and dear to my heart!
Diana's platform is called, Parallel Learning, and can be found at www.parallellearning.com. What will start as a resource site for parents and professionals, will soon become virtual and integrative support for students and families who need information and support for their children with educational, developmental, and mental health barriers.
I'm Jana Parker, a Licensed Educational Psychologist in Campbell, CA. I provide psycho-educational and school neuropsychological evaluation to students ages six through young adult, as well as executive function coaching and educational/IEP coaching to teens and parents. Welcome to my passion project, EduSwitchboard, where I connect families to valuable community resources that can support us during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
