The metaverse was all the rage about 1 year ago. Since the crypto market is experiencing a bear time period, the metaverse has not been brought up. Facebook has taken the name of Meta and this was to prepare for the metaverse. There are also two crypto projects that are popular which are the sandbox and decentreland.
