The US FDIC is looking into deposit insurance for stable coins. This insurance will be similar to what the banks currently off for regular accounts of $250,000. The coins that they are considering are Tether and USDC. This will be a big step forward for the crypto community and might help in the fight for regulation. A global analysis company has said that between January 2020 to January 2021 that globally crypto wallets have increased worldwide by 45% to 66 Million total wallets. This just shows how much crypto has grown in just a year. Public App has announced that they will be allowing there users to exchange crypto on the app soon. MoneyGram is working with stellar blockchain to begin to transfer USDC stablecoins.
