It's not everyday that you get to dive deep into the life of someone who has both over 50 years of experience in architectural practice, and is also faculty of an architecture college. V Balaji's footprint on the architectural landscape of Chennai extends from being a partner in one of the city's heralded firms to moulding talented architects into the future. Among many other topics, he opens up about his entry into architecture in the 1960s, being a part of a 6-partner firm for over 40 years and the importance of providing a good education in the subject.
