Description

Have you ever met someone and right from the start you shared stories about your life? It suddenly seems like you have known them forever and you start to entrust your life to them.

Out of the blue, their actions no longer seem to make you want to trust them and you feel betrayed.

What initially took place was trauma bonding and dumping of emotional pain/trauma that created the illusions that you have met someone to rescue you. This resulted in infatuation and inflated emotions of anxiety coupled with the excitement that the "rescuer" will take away all the pain/trauma and validate all the feelings and emotions that have been buried for so long.

However, when the disappointment sets in, we must learn the lessons to find our true selves, gain the wisdom and build on trusting ourselves before others.
