Description

Today I stumbled across an insightful LinkedIn post from Alexis Bertholf, who just completed 100 consecutive days writing on LinkedIn.

She wrote about her 9 biggest takeaways from LinkedIn writing, and I highlighted 3 of my favorite:

#1 - "It's not *that* deep" This can be the biggest hangup for content creators, caring too much what people think. Great reminder that "Your content is 15 seconds of someone's day." How about that for a reason to click "Post"?

P.S. - that 15 seconds could possibly change that person's life forever.

#2 - "You don't have to be an expert"Documenting what we learn is invaluable. You can get "quick wins" for your daily content, reinforce what you're actually learning, and teach others on a similar journey (in real-time when it's fresh and clear).

#5 - "Hold Yourself Publicly Accountable"This is huge... can be scary for sure, but huge. You want to get results? Make a public commitment. Over a year ago I made a public commitment to post a podcast once a week for an entire decade. I'm currently 60 weeks in, with 86 episodes to show for it. I missed one week (after the 1-year mark), had a panic attack, and posted 2 episodes the next week to make up for it (I'll post the YouTube video here shortly).
