This is our first edition of a series we like to call Then & Now. We're re-watching a movie that we've previously watched in our youth (then) with our new adult eyes (now). We share just how much our views and interpretations have changed, all of the content, themes, and messages we were too immature to fully comprehend, and all the jokes and punchlines that went over our heads. Up first is John Singleton's, Higher Learning. It seemed so simple in our youth but we see just how loaded it is with themes still relevant today.
