Asking for help shouldn't be viewed as a sign of weakness. "Acting Tough" shouldn't be confused with being mentally or physically strong. The upcoming fear of asking for help is what stands out. The fear that others will think less of us, talking about our feelings is a sign of weakness, the problem is embarrassing, or not knowing who can help us in a moment of crisis. We must remind ourself that it takes strength to admit we can't do it all. Isn't it strong to show we are trying to deal with humility, fear, embarrassment, feeling uncomfortable? I offer you the mantra, "Being vulnerable is a sign of strength." Today I share a few tips on ways we can ask for help without feeling guilty or weak in that moment.
