"I instantly, not only wanted to give by offering classes, but also give to charities. At that point with Covid and even today, we still don't know that much about it. So many people hurting from it, so many people have lost family members, people have lost jobs they can't afford groceries, the can't afford rent. So instantly I wanted to figure out, how can I help and how can I also still teach pilates... At this point we have given to 27 charities and we've raised just about $3000 dollars... It's been important for me to give back to people for their health, but it's also been important to me to be giving to causes. And also to use our platforms to educate clients and friends and strangers and anyone who comes across it, not only what is pilates, but what is happening in the world and how can we make a difference. So you don't have to feel guilty on spending some money towards taking care of yourself, and to take a fitness class, and to spend your time on you. You can be doing that, and giving to an amazing charity." ~Sarah Powell
